The Biofuel Alliance

Our Mission:

  • Change the psyche of the American people and wean them off the dependency of petroleum-based oil
  • Establish a program of alternative fuels independent of the government and the oil and automotive companies
  • Provide economical and environmetal fuels to the general public through publicy owned alliances
  • Pursue research grants, and provide grants and scholarships for education in our public schools
  • Form lobbying groups to convince our government to quit paying our farmers subsidies not to grow crops and instead pay them to grow vegetable oil producing crops
  • Convince our auto companies to take the lead in providing transportation that allows alternative fuels without voiding warranties
  • Convince the American public that buying foreign oil is actually funding terrorists fighting against our soldiers
  • Take a stand for mother earth before it’s too late

Meet the founder

Mark Queenan

I was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1951, the oldest of four. My family moved to Northern Michigan when I was eight years old. I spent much of my youth working hard on my relatives’ farms and fishing Lake Michigan and its surrounding streams.

I studied pre-med at Eastern Michigan University. In 1976, I moved to Florida and pursued a career in Marine sciences. I acquired my 150 ton Marine Captain License and became a dive instructor in 1980. I’ve logged over 6,000 hours underwater around the world.

In 1995, I became an aquatic therapist and Physical therapy assistant. I founded a home therapy business called Reliable Therapy in 2001.

I began my research into alternative fuels in 2004 due to the soaring cost of fuel. Surcharges were being passed onto me from my staff of therapists.

In 2005, I purchased a diesel conversion system and began experimenting with filtration systems for waste vegetable oil from restaurants. By 2006, I proved to myself that total independence from the oil companies was possible.

I originally planned not to reveal my findings in order to obtain an edge over possible competitors. However, an excursion in the summer of 2006 lead me to dive on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. I was devastated by the damage done to this great reef caused in part by global warming, and was reminded that our own Florida oceans were also in danger.

I came back to the US with a renewed purpose for saving Mother Earth. I wish now to reveal through the Biofuel Alliance that we do not need to drill for oil, we can grow our own fuel and utilize simple home systems that do not involve the major oil companies.
